Frome Festival is now in its 18th year and our exciting south west arts festival is bigger than ever with an eclectic mix of events throughout Frome’s venues, pubs, churches, halls and gardens!

Once again the festival team are delighted to present a programme packed with events to appeal across all age ranges and a multitude of tastes, with over 200 events this is the biggest Frome Festival yet and returning is the very popular Festival Food Feast on Saturday 4th July. With a range of delicious food from all over the world from local suppliers, the Cheese & Grain car park will be transformed into a street food feast with Frome Children’s Festival providing entertainment for children. Acoustic Plus presents live music and there will be the extra attraction of a travelling market!

The Frome Festival is a community festival in the true meaning of the term. Many of the events on this website are organised, hosted and promoted by local groups, venues, and individuals. We in the Festival office collate these ideas and try to incorporate our own promotions into a full, well balanced programme. This isn’t always easy. Inevitably, festival-goers sometimes have difficult decisions to make between two or more conflicting events, but this is an indication of a healthy and vibrant festival and we hope to continue creating difficult choices in the future!
